Hello there! Thanks for visting the blog! I'm Helen. I live in the beautiful highlands of Scotland and I make caketops for wedding cakes, all handmade and personalised just for you... when it comes to this internet stuff though, I need help. Thankfully I know 'The Webmaster' Lisa, and while she doesn't make caketops or answer your emails, she does do all the magic that makes the website work and knows all about my cake top working world. So really, while she may only be paid in tea and cake, she's an essential part of the team. If you're lucky you may spot a blog entry from her every now and again. Just don't email her and ask her for a caketop... but if you want a website, she's your gal!!

bags o beads!

Sometimes i have to get my sewing thread out and a tiny wee needle and get beading!! Lots of beautiful wedding dresses with beading on bodices and skirts... but none more so than sari's!! Gold and silver threads and a fair bit of sparkle! The sewing machine comes in handy but lots of hand sewing and beading for the finishing touches.... now where did i put my thimble??
