It's always great to hear from past customers who very often get in touch to share a photo from thier wedding and let me know how the caketop - and the cake ! - was enjoyed!! It's super to see what the cake top actually looked like on the cake and it definitely makes me smile!! What a wonderful variety of cakes too, and it really does show how different, personal and special each celebration is. It means my cake top making job never gets boring, as each cake top i make is unique!!
I usually get a wee email with a photo or two attached and a little note, but sometimes i get a card delivered to the door- the old fashioned way!! This card came a long way, like Susan and Gary say; all the way across the Atlantic Ocean!!
'Dear Helen,
Thank you very much for the absolutely wonderful 25th Anniversary cake top you made for us. It was definitely the 'hit' of the party. After its long trip across the Atlantic Ocean, the US and a starring appearance at our party, the cake top has taken up permanent residence in our living roon curio cabinet. It brings a smile to our faces each time we pass it.'
I have to say, that is one lucky cake top, off to live in sunny California!! (as i look out the window onto a very dreich scottish day...!!)
Now here's another lucky cake top who sits proudly atop a beautifully iced cake by Jenni James, complete with paisley patterned sugar swirls! A steady hand needed there i think!

'Thought you might like to see your cake top in action on our wedding day- they looked great! ;0)'
Many thanks to Shanthi and Andrew for sharing their lovely photos with me and now you!! Such happy smiles as they pose with the cake top. Great photos of thier day by Harj Gill.So lets wish big congratulations and the very best of wishes to all cake top bride and grooms near and far... and i look forward to many more caketop couples i haven't made and 'met' yet!!
